Cookie Policy
Vizz Ads Ltd · Version 1.0 · Last updated: 5 August 2026
1. About this policy
This policy explains how Vizz Ads Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on vizzads.com, what each one does, and how you control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle personal data.
Vizz Ads Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17027865, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under number ZC179932. You can contact us about anything in this policy at ainesh@vizzads.com.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. Cookies let a site remember things about your visit — such as the choices you made in a preference banner — and let us and our partners understand how the site is used.
We also use technologies that work like cookies but are not strictly cookies, including tracking pixels, tags and local storage. Where this policy says "cookies", it means all of these.
Cookies set by vizzads.com are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organisation whose technology we have included on our site — such as Google, Meta or OpenAI — are called third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
3. When we need your consent
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, the rules differ depending on what a cookie is for.
| Type of cookie | Do we need your consent? | What we do |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary — needed to deliver the website or a service you asked for | No | These are always active. They cannot be switched off, because the site would not work without them |
| Statistical — used solely to collect information about how the site is used | No, following the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 | We tell you about them and give you a simple way to opt out in our cookie banner |
| Preference — used to adapt how the site looks to your settings | No, following the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 | We tell you about them and give you a simple way to opt out |
| Advertising and targeting — used to show you our advertising elsewhere and measure whether it worked | Yes — we must have your consent before setting them | These are off by default. They are only set if you turn them on. You can change your mind at any time |
We do not treat continuing to browse as consent, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes. Rejecting cookies is as easy as accepting them.
4. The cookies we use
The list below is generated automatically from a monthly scan of vizzads.com, so it always reflects the cookies actually in use — including any advertising technologies added since this policy was last edited. For each one it shows the name, the provider, what it does and when it expires, grouped by the categories described in section 3.
5. How to control cookies
Our preference centre
The simplest way to control cookies on our site is the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can reopen it at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page, and change or withdraw your choices. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
The same standard for everyone
We apply opt-in consent to every visitor, wherever in the world they are, rather than applying a weaker standard to visitors from countries where the law permits it. Advertising and analytics cookies are off by default for everyone. This means a Global Privacy Control signal sent by your browser has the same practical effect as declining them here: nothing is set or shared unless you choose to enable it.
Your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Blocking all cookies will affect how many websites work, including ours. Instructions are available in the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Directly with the advertising platforms
You can also control advertising cookies at source. The platforms currently operating on our site are listed in the declaration in section 4; the most common are:
-
Google — through Google Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com
-
Meta — through your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings
-
TikTok — through the ad personalisation settings in your TikTok account
-
OpenAI — through the privacy and advertising settings in your OpenAI account, and at openai.com/policies
-
Across many advertisers at once — through the Digital Advertising Alliance at youradchoices.com, the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance at youronlinechoices.eu, or the Network Advertising Initiative at optout.networkadvertising.org
6. Cookies on our clients’ websites
As a performance marketing agency, we may install and configure measurement tags on websites belonging to our clients. Those tags are deployed on the client’s instructions and on the client’s site. The client is the controller of that data and is responsible for its own cookie banner and cookie policy. This policy covers vizzads.com only.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies we use change or when the law changes. The version number and date at the top of the document show when it was last updated. This policy is reviewed at least once every 12 months.
